Want to learn more about our heritage? Then look out for the "Heritage on the Move" bus coming to a venue near you!

"Heritage on the Move" is a project by the National Heritage Board to promote awareness of Singapore's heritage. Using interactive exhibits, books and other related materials, visitors will learn about stories, myths and Singapore's legends in a hands-on fashion.

Visitors will be transported into a magical world of myth, legend and heritage from the moment they step onto the bus. To complement the "in bus" experience, exciting workshops will be conducted in mobile marquees that are extensions of the bus. Stories such as "The Swordfish", "Badang The Magnificent" and "Snake in the Banyan Tree" will be told via interactive exhibits. Visitors will see myths like "The Legend of Bukit Timah", "The Legend of Bukit Merah" and "Sisters' Island" come alive in the form of computer animations. "Hot Springs of Sembawang" and "Kusu Island" will also be depicted in big books during storytelling sessions.
