Total Defence Carnival 2003
The highlight of this year's Total Defence campaign, this carnival brings the Total Defence message to your doorstep as it travels to the Community
Development Council districts over the weekends in February and March.
Visitors can look forward to interactive exhibits,
hands-on activities and performances related
to the five aspects of Total Defence, plus a
chance to try on different ethnic costumes and
have their photographs taken at the Social Defence
sector. Photos taken will be selected to form
a montage, Faces of Singapore, in the
shape of the Singapore map on five specially
commissioned 'Unity Buses'. These Unity Buses
will travel along popular bus routes around
Singapore after the end of the carnival.
In addition, look out for special appearances by your favourite MediaWorks artistes and celebrity DJs, as well as a chance to pick up a goodie bag and lucky draw prizes such
Hewlett-Packard notebooks and pocket PCs!
