To celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, the Singapore Foochow Association organised
a S21 Family Walk for participants of all ages.
The Family Walk was a healthy activity that provided a fun opportunity for families to
get together for an afternoon of family bonding. Free T-shirts, caps and drinks were given away.
Members of other ethnic self-help groups were also invited, which made the
Walk an ideal event to meet up with friends from other communities, as well as learn
more about the different traditions and culture of each community.
Through this, the Walk hoped to strengthen cohesion and understanding amongst the
ethnic groups in a fun and engaging way.

The Family Walk was co-organised by the Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan
Associations, Singapore Chinese Teachers' Union, 21 Foochow Member Organisations and
San Shan School Alumni.
