"Steering Your
Way - Your Ride to Volunteering" Exhibition
Ngee Ann Polytechnic entered into a joint partnership with the National
Volunteer Centre (NVC) in an effort to promote volunteerism in support of the S21
vision.
To underscore the firm commitment of the two organisations in this
synergistic partnership, the polytechnic signed a Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) with NVC on 20 Sep 2000 at 10 am at The Atrium, Ngee Ann
Polytechnic. The Guest-Of-Honour for the MOU was Mr Mohamad Maidin Packer Mohd,
Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education.
An exhibition by NVC entitled "Steering Your Way - Your Ride to Volunteering"
was on display at The Atrium, Ngee Ann Polytechnic for three days (20-22 Sep 2000).
The exhibition was open to the public and aimed to inspire and encourage individuals
to make volunteering a way of life, and to generate awareness of the host of volunteering
opportunities available to individuals and organisations.
