Volunteers' Day
What took place
The third CDAC Volunteers' Day was held on 27
May 2000. Mrs Yu-Foo Yee Shoon, Senior Parliamentary
Secretary for Ministry of Community Development
and Sports, presented the Volunteers Commendation
Award to 10 recipients (read
more).
79 dedicated volunteers who had served with
the CDAC for 5 years were also presented with
the 5-year Long Service Award. Mr Chua Gim Siong,
Chairman, CDAC Volunteers and Social Services
Committee, delivered the welcome address.
