What
took place
The
Tampines Central Singapore 21 Seminar on 21 May
2000 saw MP for Tampines GRC, Mr Sin Boon Ann
giving the keynote address, and Minister of State
for Defence and Information & the Arts, Mr David
Lim giving a speech entitled "Translating the
Singapore 21 Vision Into Reality".
It also featured presentations by the various
Residents' Committees of Tampinese Central on
the projects that they were undertaking
in support of the S21 vision. These
included the setting up of a family club, the creation
of an emergency transport system, and the formation
of a care and support group, among others.
