A
2-day playwriting contest with a difference!
The S21 playwriting contest aims to create awareness
of the Singapore
21 vision that was launched in 1999. Through this contest, it is hoped that Singaporeans will better understand their role in making Singapore our best home.
This contest is open
to full-time students of the Institutions of Higher
Learning in Singapore. The play is to be written
primarily in English and should preferably be
30 to 45 minutes in duration.
The contest will be held from Monday 9 December
2002, 9.00am to Tuesday 10 December 2002, 7.00pm.
Throughout the contest, participants will stay
in single rooms in the Prince George's Park Student
Residences at the National University of Singapore.
A facilitator will be present to provide participants
with different stimuli related to the S21 ideas,
including going through various places on or near
campus. $7000 worth of prizes will be awarded
to winners of the contest.
Registration fee for each participant is $25 and
all completed registration forms should be forwarded
through the respective institutions to the S21
Playwriting Contest Secretariat. Deadline for
