The Charity Fiesta was initiated in 1992. It aims to raise funds for selected beneficiaries, raise awareness of lesser known Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWO), and enhance public understanding on the services and support offered by the VWOs. It is hoped that with improved understanding, more people will be inclined to step forward to assist the less fortunate in society.

This year's fiesta features lunch-time concerts, a bazaar operated by the beneficiaries, and an exhibition showcasing the VWOs.

The event is supported by Southwest CDC, PA Youth Movement, Lee Foundation, Burmese Buddhist Temple a the National Youth Council and Power 98.
