Kindness Week and Pay
It Forward Day

In conjunction with the Singapore Kindness Week, the Central Singapore Community Development Council (CS CDC) and Nee Soon South Zone 'C' RC will launch the Pay It Forward Day on 7 April 2002. The event will be held at the open field next to Khatib MRT Station.
Pay It Forward is premised on the simple idea of triggering a chain reaction of goodness. An individual does another a favour without expectation of self-gain. Instead he/she requests the recipient of the goodwill to pay it forward to other people. In turn, these other recipients will then pass it on to others. This sets off a chain reaction of goodness!
More than 100 households from Nee Soon South Zone 'C' (Blocks 800 to 805 & 812, Yishun Ring Road) will be participating in the Pay It Forward Day.
Each participating household will do a good deed to another household residing at another block. In turn, the recipient is expected to forward the kind deed to another household.
